Putnam softball league to hold opening ceremonies

The Putnam County Girls Softball League is hosting is Opening Day Ceremonies Saturday, May 16.

Opening ceremonies will start at 10 a.m. with the flag presentation followed by the National Anthem.

Throwing out of the First Pitch will follow the National Anthem. The first games will start shortly after the Opening Ceremonies at approximately 10:30 a.m.

The Putnam County Girls Softball League is made up of girls from age 4 to 21 years of age. All people of Putnam County are invited to come out and enjoy a full day of fun in the sun watching girls of all ages playing softball.

The PCGSL will be serving lunch during the day which will include hotdogs, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chips and a drink along with many more concession stand items.

The PCGSL would like to thank sponsors and board members who have worked hard behind the scenes getting ready for the season opener.

    In looking back at the information submitted, it never actually says where. Presumably it would have to be Big Walnut Sports Park.

  • Is this youth slow or fast pitch, at the Armory, Robe Ann Park or at the Big Walnut
