Evelyn Maxine Shaughnessy

Evelyn Maxine Shaughnessy, 81, Pittsboro, formerly of Greencastle, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015.

She had been an administrative assistant at Union Carbide, retiring in 1996.

She was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church.

Survivors include her husband, G. Larry Shaughnessy; son Tim (Melanie) Shaughnessy; granddaughter Molly Shaughnessy; brother Robert (Linda) Nelson; sister Betty (Robert) Perkins; several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, May 18 at Connection Pointe Christian Church, 1800 N. Green St., Brownsburg, with funeral services there at noon.

Committal services will be at 2 p.m. at Forest Hill Cemetery, Greencastle.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
