Dan Bozzelli, assistant men's basketball coach at University of Rochester (N.Y.) for the last three seasons, has been named assistant men's basketball coach at DePauw University.

Bozzelli replaces Brian Oilar, who left in April to take the head coaching position at Otterbein University.

"I'm excited to have Dan join the DePauw family," DPU head coach Bill Fenlon said. "With his extensive experience as an assistant coach and his background of recruiting in some of our key areas, I have no doubt that he'll hit the ground running."

During his tenure at Rochester, the Yellowjackets posted a 42-35 record, including an University Athletic Association title in 2013 and advancement to the second round of the NCAA Championship.

Bozzelli graduated from SUNY Cortland in 2005 with a bachelor of science degree in physical education and also played two seasons for the Red Dragons. Upon graduation, he served as an assistant for two seasons at Rochester Institute of Technology before taking on a graduate assistant role at Ithaca College from where he earned a master of science in physical education.

He then served one season as an assistant at Wilmington (Del.) University and three seasons at Nazareth College.
