Stacks Music Sampler, 5:30 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Drop in around 5:30 for an impromptu performance and presentation on some familiar and not-so-familiar pieces of music. Vocal ensembles, string trios, brass quartets, and much more.

Tech Help Desk, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Our Tech Help Desk has a computer technician available to give one-on-one assistance using software and electronic devices, and can help diagnose and repair your computers and devices.

Chess with James, 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

All ages are encouraged to come and learn to play Chess. Those who know the game can come to play and improve their skills.

Computer Class: Introduction to Spreadsheets, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Introduction to Spreadsheets will introduce patrons to spreadsheet software, creating and using spreadsheets like Microsoft Excel and discuss cheaper and free alternatives to Microsoft. All classes are for beginners and are free and open to the public but registration is required since space is limited. To register, you can use the 'May Computer Classes' link on the library website at pcpl21.org, call Mike at 765-653-2755 Ext. 118, or call or stop by our circulation or reference desks at the library.

Wednesday, May 20

Baby Time, 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Sing songs, read stories, play with toys, talk, and laugh with your baby. Caregivers receive a free Starbucks beverage after 10 sessions. Birth through crawlers.

My Garden Series: Selecting Garden Plants and Planting by Jenna Nees, 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Jenna Nees is the Agriculture & Natural Resources (ANR) Extension Educator for Putnam County. She has a BA in Agribusiness Management, an MS in Agriculture Economics from Purdue University, and is a 2003 graduate of Cloverdale High School.
