Bree Jewell

MANHATTAN -- Krambo's sixth annual Dash 4 Cash is set for Saturday, June 20, rain or shine.

The annual event based from the Manhattan motorcycle shop will continue its tradition of benevolence by raising funds for seven-year-old Bree Jewell of Greencastle.

Bree, the daughter of Jody and Nick Query of Greencastle and Bret Jewell of Cloverdale, is fighting Stage 4 rhabdomyosarcoma.

Since diagnosis, she has undergone frequent chemotherapy, wiht radiation treatments soon to begin.

Support from the Krambo's event will offset some of the cost of travel to doctors appointments and allow the family freedom to enjoy Bree, who enjoys movies, especially "Frozen," as well as going to the zoo.

The family also includes Bree's four siblings, Piper, Lucas, Madison and Johnathon.

All money given to the family will stay with the family.

More than just raising funds, though, the motorcycle run will be a chance for riders to have some fun searching for cool items on Indiana's scenic roads. Participants are encouraged to bring friends and family.

This is not a lead ride and is mostly family friendly. Simply head out on the scavenger hunt, find the items and take a photo. The more items you find and the more money you donate, the better the chance of winning prizes.

The festivities will also include Bike Blessings by CMA, music from Frequency, onsite vendors with food and other items, great prizes and auction items.

Registration will take place from 9 a.m.-noon.

For more information, contact Krambo's at 672-4090 or check them out on Facebook.

  • its just a shame all 100% of these proceeds from all these benifits for this precious angel are going to only the mother. ive known her father for years not only has he paid childcare child support but he has always been an amazing dad. Its a shame everyone only feels sympathy and the need to help only one side of the family.
