2015 Putnam County Fair Queen Contestants

On Saturday, July 11, eight contestants will seek the title of Miss Putnam County Fair 2015, with 2014 Queen Brittany Birt (center) crowning one lucky lady as her successor. The young ladies vying for the title include (from left) Bailey Goff, Mikayla Roach, Ariel Higgins, Miriah Cherry, Heather Goss, Kristen Stevens, Marlee Nichols and Kristin Rudolph. The contest will take place at 7 p.m. at the Putnam County Fairgrounds Community Building and will include a farewell speech from Birt as well as pre-contest entertainment by 2014 Putnam County Star Cord Watkins and 2013 Putnam County Star Melissa Warner. Contestants will be judged for professional wear, evening gown and their answers to an impromptu question during the event, as well as their pre-contest interview and meal with the judges. The night will end with the presentation of Miss Congeniality and First, Second and Third-Runner-Up, all leading up to the crowning of Miss Putnam County Fair 2015. (Courtesy photo/Xo.Ashlee Pinney)
