MaryAnn Meyer, age 75, of Greencastle, passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015.
Born Oct. 19, 1939 in Charleston, Ill., she was the daughter of Vaughn E. and Mary Alice (Harwood) Armer Sr.
She was a 1957 graduate of Proviso High School, Maywood, Ill.
She was a 1961 graduate and received her Master's Degree from DePauw University.
MaryAnn taught speech, English and drama at Broad Ripple, Greencastle and Cloverdale Jr. and Sr. High School, retiring in 2001.
She was a member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church; PEO; Pi Beta Phi sorority, volunteered at the Putnam County Hospital; and was active at the Putnam County Museum and various organizations.
She is survived by her husband, Edward H. Meyer Jr.; her children, Michael (Brenda) Meyer, Anne (Steve) Stewart, Pete (Julie) Meyer, Patrick (Julie) Meyer, and Tony (Denise) Meyer; her mother, Mary Alice Armer; a brother, Vaughn "Mike" Armer; and 15 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday, July 11 at 11 a.m. at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church, Greencastle. Inurnment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service.
