Steven Warren Gardner

Steven Warren Gardner, 69, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 5, 2015 after valiantly battling a long illness. He went quietly surrounded by family and loved ones.

He is survived by his loving wife, Nannie May (Snow) Gardner; a son, Steve (Jennifer) Gardner of Sullivan; a daughter, Becky Gardner Hayes of Plainfield; grandchildren, Brandon Ford of Greencastle, Bradley (Kylie) Hudson of Greencastle, Michael Hudson of Indianapolis, Destinee Hudson of Indianapolis, J.W. Hayes of Fillmore, Steven Thomas of Sullivan, and Thomas Hayes of Plainfield; one great-grandchild, J.J. Hayes of Fillmore; brothers and sisters Stanley Gardner of Greencastle, Peggy (Ted) Perales of Greencastle, Danny (Diane) Gardner of Fillmore, David (Patty) Gardner of Greencastle, Mary Ooley of Las Gatos, Calif., Jamey (Pam) Gardner of Lizton and Benjy Gardner of Marshal, Ill.

He was preceeded in death by his parents, Walter and Helen Gardner of Greencastle, and daughter Connie Calhoun Gardner of Greencastle.

A celebration of his life will be conducted 7-9 p.m. Friday, July 10 at Greencastle Christian Church, located at 620 Primrose Lane, Greencastle, with Rev. Mark Miller presiding. All family and friends are welcome.
