'The Game's Afoot' auditions set at PCPH

Director Dustin Bond will hold two sessions of auditions for the mystery-comedy "The Game's Afoot" by Ken Ludwig at Putnam County Playhouse.

The first session is scheduled for 3 p.m. Sunday, July 19. The second audition will be Monday, July 20 at 7 p.m.

Both sessions will be in the rehearsal center at the Hazel Day Longden Theatre in Greencastle.

"The Game's Afoot," sponsored by Shuee's Furniture and Mattress, will be produced Sept. 10-12 and Sept. 16-19.

Roles available include William Gillette, an actor who has played the role of Sherlock Holmes so often that when a murder occurs at his palatial home during a holiday celebration, he attempts to solve it himself; his friends, Felix and Madge, a pair of married performers; younger performers Simon and Aggie; Gillette's mother, Martha; Daria, a hated gossip columnist, and Inspector Goring, a female constable.
