Kristopher Lee Chaplin

Kristopher Lee Chaplin, 46, of Cloverdale, and formerly of Indianapolis and Poland, Ind., passed away unexpectedly Thursday, July 9, 2015.

Kris was born Jan. 27, 1969 in Indianapolis, the son of Richard and Tamara (Denny) Chaplin.

Kris graduated from Perry Meridian High School with the class of 1986.

He had been employed at IAC in Greencastle since 2006, working as a relief operator.

Kris married Beverly Fark Collins on Dec. 27, 2011.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norma and Carl Stamm, and maternal grandparents, Ed and Jean Denny, and a stepmother, Donna Chaplin.

Kris is survived by his wife, Beverly Chaplin of Cloverdale; son Kalen Chaplin; parents Richard Chaplin of Monticello, and Tamara (Denny) Chaplin of Indianapolis; stepdaughter, Tracy Collins of Cloverdale, and a stepson, Travis Collins and wife Stephanie of Tennessee; two sisters, Dawna Hellyer and husband Chris of Tipp City, Ohio, and Shawna Mazza and husband Mike of Indianapolis; a brother, Kyle Chaplin and wife Jennifer of Indianapolis, as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be at Lawson-Miller Chapel, 1702 E. National Ave., Brazil, on Wednesday, July 15 from 4-8 p.m.
