Bree Mahoney-Sutherland won first place for her underwater themed attire during Monday's Horse and Pony Costume Parade. She is the 12-year-old daughter of Erin Mahoney and Rick Sutherland of Cloverdale. The participants vote on a theme each year, with this year's chosen topic to be underwater. Along with decking themselves and their equine based on the chosen topic, the participants also decorate the horse and pony stalls. The contest drew out two other participants.
