Ivy Tech hosting enrollment event Aug. 1 at Greencastle campus

Ivy Tech Community College is offering courses in Putnam County, Hendricks County and west Indianapolis for fall semester, which begins Aug.24.

Those interested in taking classes this fall may visit IvyTech.edu/new-students to learn more about Ivy Tech's enrollment steps. Ivy Tech offers courses at its Greencastle campus, Avon site and Indy West site.

Ivy Tech will be hosting an enrollment event at the Greencastle campus, 915 S. Zinc Mill Rd., on Saturday, Aug. 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Aug. 1 event at Greencastle is a Go Ivy Day for those interested in learning more about the campus and filling out an application. Learn more about this event at www.ivytech.edu/goivyday.

A full course schedule is offered at the Greencastle site, including classes in the subject areas of Accounting, Anatomy and Physiology, Biology, Business, Communications, Computer Information, Criminal Justice, English, Entrepreneurship, Fine Arts, Health Sciences, History, Logistics Management, Math, New Student Seminar, Office Administration, Physiology, Practical Nursing, Psychology, Sociology and Spanish.

Meanwhile at the Avon (7508 Beechwood Centre Rd.) and Indy West (7333 W. Washington St.) sites, courses being offered include: Accounting, Business, Communication, Computer Information Systems, Criminal Justice, Economics, English, Fine Arts, History, Math, New Student Seminar, Philosophy, Psychology, Science, Sociology and Spanish.

Ivy Tech will be hosting enrollment events 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Aug. 3 at its Avon site and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Aug. 4 at the Indy West site.

The Aug. 3 and 4 events are Express Enrollment Days, which make it convenient to complete enrollment steps and register for classes at Ivy Tech in one day. Those interested in attending either of these events are encouraged to RSVP and learn more at www.ivytech.edu/enrollmentday.
