Birds topic of museum talk Saturday morning

The scarlet tanager is a bird that breeds in Indiana and spends its winters in South America. It is among the birds to be discussed on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 11 a.m. at the Putnam County Museum.
Dean Finley will address the topic, "Journeys our songbirds make."
Finley is a longtime bird aficionado and member of the Big Walnut Bird Club.
The bird talk is part of the museum's ongoing exploration of the natural history. It is free and open to the public.
