Friday, August 7, 2015

In recognition of the upcoming Indiana Bicentennial, Putnam County experts in a wide variety of subjects and disciplines are making themselves available at no cost to clubs, groups, schools and organizations who wish to educate themselves about different aspects of Indiana life over the years.

To request a speaker for your next meeting, program or event, go to the Putnam County Public Library website at pcpl21.org/bicentennial-speakers-bureau.

The Bicentennial Speakers Bureau is a project of the Putnam County Indiana Bicentennial Committee.

Activities, events and projects will be conducted over the next 18 months until the Indiana Bicentennial celebration on Dec. 11, 2016.

To get involved or join the Speakers Bureau, persons may contact Co-Chairmen Phil Gick at phillipgick@hotmail.com or Elaine Peck at epeck@pcfoundation.org.
