Kids' Stuff

Tuesday, August 11, 2015
With an emphasis on young children and their wellbeing Tuesday afternoon, the Johnson Nichols Clinic and Putnam County WIC sponsored their seventh breastfeeding celebration at Robe-Ann Park in Greencastle. In addition to items coinciding with World Breastfeeding Week 2015, parents and youngsters received information about Head Start, health care and more, as well as being treated to snacks like the watermelon-flavored cupcake devoured by two-year-old Sophia (above), daughter of Abbie Arthur, Greencastle. She and four-year-old Genevieve Gehring (below), daughter of Kadazejau Gehring, Cloverdale, peek at the array of food under the shelterhouse as their moms keep an eye on the active little girls while also attending to babies Quinn Arthur, seven months, and little Gabe Gehring tucked into the double-decker stroller.
