New provider joins Putnam Pediatrics

Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine has announced that Michelle Modlin, FNP-C, has joined their practice and is now seeing patients.

Modlin will be joining Lisa Martin, MD, Mahesh Sreedasyam, MD, and Andrea Baysinger, FNP-C.

Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine is conveniently located inside Putnam County Hospital.

Modlin worked for a local family physician as the office manager for 10 years before returning to nursing school. She earned her ASN from Ivy Tech Community College, her BSN from Western Governors and her MSN, FNP from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Modlin is board-certified as a nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and is a member of the Coalition of Advanced Practices Nurses of Indiana.

"I wanted to further my nursing education and become a nurse practitioner to be able to provide local primary care to patients of all ages in my hometown community," Modlin said. "I aspire to grow with each and every patient, and provide care from birth to the end of life. My primary focus is on preventative health maintenance and disease prevention, as I work with each patient to prevent chronic health conditions.

"I am excited to be part of the health care team at Putnam County Hospital," she added, "as we work together to meet the needs of each individual patient."

Putnam Pediatrics and Internal Medicine is a primary care, family medicine practice providing comprehensive healthcare services. Patients also have easy access to Putnam County Hospital.
