County Road 1100 South closed Monday west of Cloverdale

CLOVERDALE ­-- In preparation for an upcoming bridge replacement project, the Putnam County Highway Department has announced the Monday closure of County Road 1100 South at Bridge 215.

The road will be closed at the bridge from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday. The bridge will reopen Monday afternoon.

Road Closed signs will be set at State Road 42 and Meridian Line Road and also on both sides of the bridge.

The highway department encourages all traffic to use a detour route of north on SR231 to Burma Road then south on Meridian Line Road.

Core drilling work is to be performed on Bridge 215 for the anticipation of replacement the end of 2015 or in 2016
