Luella Mae Horner

Luella Mae (Austin) Horner, 88, of Greencastle, passed away Friday afternoon, Sept. 25, 2015 at her residence.

Born Sept. 11, 1927 in Rockville, she was the daughter of Branham Austin and Ella (Mankin) Austin. She moved to Coatesville in 1936.

She graduated from Amo High School in 1945. She worked for the Coatesville Bank for one year.

She married Mile Elmo Horner on Aug. 18, 1946, and he preceded her in death on Feb 21, 2001.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Coatesville Methodist Church and the OES Plainfield 44.

Survivors include three daughters, Dawn Chambers and husband Willliam Anderson, Greencastle, Debby Sutherlin, Greencastle, and Debra Lewzader and husband Mike, Greencastle; a son in law, Tim Sutherlin, Greencastle; six grandchildren, Matthew Anderson, Kristin Wilcher, Scott Sutherlin, Sean Sutherlin, Summer Sutherlin, and Darian Tran; and two great-grandchildren, Adrianna Anderson and Samaya Wilcher.

Her parents, husband and grandchild Shane Austin Sutherlin preceded her in death.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Brick Chapel Cemetery with Pastor Shannon Ivers officiating.
