First Ivy Gallery lunch of school year set for Oct. 7

The Culinary Arts students at Area 30 Career Center will be creating and serving their first Ivy Gallery lunch of the school year on Wednesday, Oct. 7.

Serving time is noon to 1 p.m.

Cost of the three-course meal is $10.75 per person, including a drink and a three-course meal, appetizer of soup or salad, main entrée and dessert selections. RSVP only due to limited seating.

The Ivy Gallery is located within the Area 30 Career Center, adjacent to the cafeteria of the old IBM building off Indianapolis Road at Calbert Way in Greencastle.

The class "is a culinary program where students are learning many skills," Culinary Arts instructor Mary Anne Birt said in announcing the event. "We are not competition for other restaurants as we are a learning site to feed into their restaurant."
