Lynn Ann Short, 46, of Brazil, passed away at her home, surrounded by her family and friends after a long battle with kidney stones on Friday, Oct. 2, 2015.

She was born June 2, 1969 in Brazil to Janet (Sutherlin) Short and Rodney Short, both of Brazil.

She was born an invalid with CP and blind. She attended Forest Park Special Education Center until age 15.

She spent the rest of her days at home with her mother, dogs, birds and cat. She rode horses with her Uncle Red until she was too big for him to hold her safely. She loved being wherever her loving brother and friends played ball. She loved to listen to all around her. Her late dog "Paw" was her companion for 14 years.

She is survived by her parents; her brother Preston Jay Short (Marita); nieces, Emily, Madeline and Amelia Short; her pets, Moses and Cat; and her extended family, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

A family celebration of Lynn Ann's life will be held at a later date. West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer is assisting with the arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to Clay County Youth Baseball in care of Tobe Sutherlin, P.O. Box 186, Cloverdale, IN 46120, the place she loved to be. "Play Ball!"

Lynn Ann's family would like to give a special thank you to Frank Kiefer P.A., PCCS of Greencastle, Southern Care Hospice and Lynn's Pharmacy of Brazil for all their loving care over the years.
