CRAWFORDSVILLE -- After its sectional title last week and a successful season the Greencastle boys' tennis team fell to Terre Haute North in five matches.

"We had a great season," GHS coach Kevin Rowe said. "I am very proud of all of the players, both varsity and junior varsity. It was a complete team effort this year and we would not have accomplished what we did this year without everyone working together. The scores from our regional match with Terre Haute South do not reflect the competitiveness of the games."

Greencastle has a lot to look forward to and everyone on the Tiger Cub team can look forward to it because GHS has no seniors. The entire team will be back next year to defend its sectional title and try to make it three in a row.

"I give Terre Haute South a ton of credit for having a great team, including being very well coached," Rowe said. "We were fighting hard and taking most of the games to deuce, but we struggled to pull out more individual game wins. I am looking forward to next year and am planning on competing again for a regional title."
