Harry Potter Week scheduled at the library

The library will be closed Monday for Columbus Day, but join Putnam County Public Library the rest of the week in the Imagination Portal for Harry Potter week.

Make and take crafts will be available each day from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

On Tuesday, Brick Club will have an extended time period in which youth ages 4-12 can challenge themselves to build scenes from J. K Rowling's fantasy series.

Wednesday patrons will learn how to create a magic wand in Ollivander's Wand Shop.

Thursday will be Hedwig Owlery Craft, where participants can create an owl to send messages to friends.
