Ronald A. Freeman, 64, Cloverdale, passed away on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015 at his residence.

He was born on Nov. 27, 1950 in Chicago and was the son of the late Adolph L. Freeman. He was married to Sharon (Hipps) Freeman and she survives.

He is survived by his children, Angela Freeman of Plainfield, Joseph Freeman of Monrovia and Chris Watson of Indianapolis; his siblings, Martha Personett and husband Damion of Greencastle, Diana Gabbard of Gas City, Joann Snapp and husband Mike of Greencastle, Kathy Garrison and husband Mark of Greencastle, Bob Freeman and wife Susan of Sullivan and honorary brother Bob Roach of Terre Haute; his grandchildren, Tim Allen of Avon, Brandon Allen of West Lafayette, Gage Freeman of Monrovia, Brody Watson of Greencastle, Lindy Watson of Greencastle and his beloved dogs, Bo, Daisy, Benji and BJ.

He was a retired laborer having been employed by the Indiana State Highway Department, Putnam County Courthouse, Holiday Inn and the Putnam County Hospital.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Dorothy M. Freeman; his siblings, Patty Scank and David Akers; his grandparents, Clarence Freeman, Gale and Edith Clark; his nieces, Tammy Myers and Tanae Garrison; his brothers-in-law, Duane McClure and Bob Gabbard; and his dog Buddy.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale. Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 4 p.m. until service time.
