Kimberly Burdine Powell

Kimberly Burdine Powell, 32, of Roachdale, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015 at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born on May 26, 1983 to Rick and Teresa A Lawson Burdine at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

Kimberly graduated from North Putnam High School in 2001. She was a very outgoing person who loved singing karaoke and spending time with her family and friends. She was a person who enjoyed life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by many.

She was a loving mother to Faith Kenworthy and Landyn Powell, a sister to Nathan Burdine and Nicholas Burdine, an aunt to Autumn and Briggs Miles, a daughter to Rick Burdine and granddaughter of Glenda Burdine, who all survive in Roachdale.

She was preceded in death by her mother Teresa Lawson, her grandparents Junior Burdine and James and Geraldine Lawson and five uncles.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 at Servies and Morgan Funeral Home, 102 E. Washington Street, Roachdale, with Pastor Shannon Ivers officiating. Burial will follow in Roachdale Cemetery, where following the service there will be a balloon release in honor of those battling cancer.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
