PC Hospital hosting pink balloon release Oct. 23

Putnam County Hospital Cancer Center is hosting a pink balloon release Friday, Oct. 23 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The release will be hosted at 2 p.m. on the front lawn of the hospital as a way to honor and remember those who battled breast cancer.

The event is open to anyone touched by breast cancer, whether they be a survivor, still battling, have a friend or family member affected or lost someone to the battle against breast cancer.

There will also be refreshments available.
