'Meet the Candidates' forum to be held Thursday in Roachdale

ROACHDALE -- The Roachdale Revitalization Cooperative Alliance (RRCA) will host its "Meet the Candidates 2015 Forum" on Thursday, Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. at the North Side Meeting House in Roachdale, located at 5 E. Railroad St.

"Please join us for this exciting event -- an event which will give voters the opportunity to learn of the candidates' credentials and understand their vision(s) for the future of our community," Joe Buser, president of the RRCA, said. "Local election turnout and participation is critical as voters can have a direct influence on the way our town does business and can help shape our community as we develop economic policies and ensure growth, job creation, education, tourism and historic preservation."

All candidates for the offices of clerk/treasurer and town council for the town of Roachdale will be in attendance.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. for informal discussions with the candidates. Coffee and snacks will be served.
