The DePauw field hockey team ended its regular season with a 3-2 North Coast Athletic Conference win over Ohio Wesleyan on Saturday.

The Tigers did all of their work offensively in the first half, while shutting down the Battling Bishops defensively in the second half.

Reilly Bruce got the scoring started off an assist from Grace Goodbarn at the 6:40 mark. It was her 14th goal of the year.

Ohio Wesleyan, however, answered less than two minutes later by a goal from Paige Haenig.

At 13:13 DePauw retook the lead as Paige Berliner scored her 18th goal of the year. The goal put her 12th on the school's single season record in goals scored.

The Battling Bishops had another answer at 25:22 thanks to a goal by Courtney Peterson. Yet, 40 seconds later freshman Sarah Pereya picked a good time for her first collegiate goal as she scored off a rebound for the game-winner.

While neither team scored for the remainder of the game, DePauw dominated possession in the second half, as Ohio Wesleyan failed to even tally a shot. For the game, the Tigers outshot the Battling Bishops 27-4.

Sarah Guendert (13-4) received the win in net. Jackie Feliciano (8-11) made 14 saves in the loss. DePauw took 15 penalty corners to Ohio Wesleyan's four.

The Tigers conclude the regular season at 13-4 and 12-2 in the NCAC. Ohio Wesleyan stands at 8-11 overall and 6-8 in conference play.

Goodbarn and Natalie Abbott were recognized for senior day before the game.
