The traditions of the fall season are upon us -- leaves are falling to the ground; days are getting shorter, thoughts are turning to preparations for the holiday season; final preparations are being made for the annual Delta Theta Tau Holiday Home Tour, and those famous Delt cheese balls are now available.

Members of Theta Chapter, Delta Theta Tau Sorority have prepared hundreds of your favorite cheese balls again this year -- cheddar, beef and onion, and dill -- along with a new limited edition variety -- chocolate peppermint. Each costs just $6.

Delta Theta Tau booth at the Putnam County Extension Homemakers Past Presidents' Arts and Craft Show Friday and Saturday, Nov. 6-7 in the fairgrounds community building. It will also be at the Ridpath Bazaar the following Saturday. The cheese balls are frozen so they can easily be saved for those holiday parties and family get-togethers.

The 33rd annual Holiday Home Tour will be on Sunday, Nov. 22 from 1-5 p.m.

Featured homes this year include Phillip and Georgenna Gick, 911 E. Washington St., Greencastle; Jay and Jackie Hopkins, 1913 Wildwood Dr. (Edgelea), Greencastle; David and Joyce Johnson, 218 W. Seminary St. (Asbury Village), Greencastle; Eric and June Wolfe, 1001 Crescent Dr., Greencastle; and Autumn Glen Assisted Living, 98 N. 10th St., Greencastle. More details will be coming soon.
