Family quiet time in the Imagination Portal, 9 a.m.-noon

Looking for a little quiet in the library? Enjoy the library without monitors, video games or music in the background.

Community Help Desk, 2-4 p.m.

The Community Help Desk has a computer technician available to give one-on-one assistance using software and electronic devices, and can help diagnose and repair computers and devices.

One Hour of Code, 4-5 p.m.

This program is designed for kids ages 9-14. Learn how to code using fun software. Sign up is required due to computer space.

Tuesday, Nov. 10

Tech Tuesday in the Imagination Portal, 4-5 p.m.

Youth ages 8-19 are able to create and explore web-based programs, which include creating comics, fan fiction and basic keyboard exercises. Registration is limited to 10 students, with a waiting list for additional

sign-ups.

Toddler Time, 10-10:30 a.m.

Sing songs, hear stories and nursery rhymes, move around to music and action songs. Also make a craft.

Imagination Library - 'Llama Llama Red Pajama' storytime, 11-11:45 a.m.

Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a simple and free way for Putnam County children up to age 5 to receive a beautiful set of 60 children's books. Come hear "Llama Llama Red Pajama," an Imagination Library book participants received as two year olds, enjoy activities, have a snack and make a llama llama craft. Wear pajamas, too. Appropriate for three to five year olds.

Computer Class: Advanced Spreadsheets, noon-2 p.m.

Advanced Spreadsheets will cover some of the more advanced features of spreadsheet software, including creating formulas and analyzing data. All classes are for beginners and are free and open to the public, but registration is required since space is limited. To sign up you can visit www.PCPL21.org, call Mike at 653-2755 Ext. 118 or stop by our circulation or reference desks at the library.

Pokemon League, 1-2 p.m.

PCPL provides a safe environment for youth ages 4-14 to play with Pokemon cards. A partnership with the Game Warehouse (local business) allows for youth to earn stamps to receive a discount on additional cards.
