Wasser Brewing to host home brew competition Saturday

Wasser Brewing Co., 102 E. Franklin St., Greencastle, will host a home brewers competition on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 3-7 p.m.

Along the Vine Street side of the building, the new brew pub will offer a beirgarten and have food trucks open to the public.

Wasser, which is owned and operated by founder and head brewer Chris Weeks, will be selling beer from local craft breweries and will feature mead and cider from New Day.

Along Franklin Street it will stage the BJCP home brewers competition with samples available to those who purchase tickets.

Weeks will be serving samples as a part of the home brewing competition inside the building.

VIP ticket purchasers can enter at 3 p.m. and get a T-shirt. General admission starts at 4 p.m. and will include eight six-ounce samples.

VIP tickets are $35 and limited to 75 attendees, while general admission is $20 and limited to 100 people.
