Tiger Cubs win move to 4-1

NEW MARKET -- The Greencastle girls' basketball team earned the easy win Tuesday against Southmont 76-37.

The GHS team was in control throughout ,leading after the first 20-7. The Tiger Cubs kept the pressure on and took the halftime lead 42-7 after a three-pointer at the buzzer by Mia Stevens.

Southmont had its best quarter, offensively 13 points but GHS continued to pour it on and the game was never close.

The Tiger Cub team (4-1) will now head into the Putnam County Tournament and will face Cloverdale Friday in the first game at 6 p.m.at South Putnam.
