BG: What's unique about being a senior this year?
JV: Just being able to come together as a senior class. That's what I love about it. We've all come together, we are so close. It's great.

BG: Who are some of your biggest supporters off the court?
JV: My Grandma. My family. It's fantastic she does everything for me. She's a single grandmother. She does everything in her power to get me where I need to be and pays for everything.

BG: What are some of your favorite things about your teammates?
JV: We talk well. We like to communicate well. When we are down we like to stay together no matter what. We are always pumping each other up.

BG: You haven't played since freshman year, what is it like to be back?
JV: It's a great feeling. I've missed it a lot.

BG: What is your favorite thing about basketball?
JV: Defense. I just like being able to stop and keep people from scoring.

BG: What are your favorite memories playing at North Putnam?
JV: My eighth-grade year, I was at Riverton Parke and my friend Cameron McPherson lost the drawstring on his pants. And his pants just fell. That was my favorite of all time.

JV: Go to IUPUI, U of Indy or ISU for nursing.

BG: Why are you interested in nursing?
JV: I just like helping people. I want to do special needs help. I just love helping people and seeing them smile. It makes me smile.
