Santa coming to town on fire truck Dec. 4

Santa Claus will come to town on Friday, Dec. 4 aboard a Greencastle Fire Department Truck, arriving at 4 p.m.

Santa will meet and greet kids of all ages from 4-6 p.m. at WynWay Technologies, 122 E. Washington St., just east of the square in Greencastle.

The fire department will drop off Santa at the corner of College Avenue and Washington Street. He will meet and greet children on his way to WynWay where inside snacks and surprises will be given out.

Santa will be posing for pictures and listening to children's wish lists.

Children who have prepared a letter for Santa can post it in Santa's special mailbox at WynWay beginning Dec. 4.

Santa's arrival at WynWay is the pre-event for the Main Street Greencastle First Friday holiday celebration taking place from 6-9 p.m.

At 6 p.m. Santa will leave WynWay and head to the Putnam County Senior Center, 9 W. Franklin St., on the north side of the square, where he will continue to see children until 9 p.m.

Santa will also be at WynWay on Dec. 10 and 15 from 4-6 p.m. He will be listening to wish lists, taking pictures and passing out goodies on those dates as well.

WynWay is sponsoring Santa as part of the Main Street Greencastle First Friday holiday event.
