Larry Lee Keyt, 73, formerly of Bainbridge, passed away at 12:15 p.m., Friday, Nov. 27, 2015 at Cloverleaf Healthcare in Knightsville.

He was born on December 30, 1941 in Clinton, to the late Charles and surviving Betty (Lancaster) Keyt.

Larry graduated from Van Buren High School and then joined the United States Army. On Sept. 27, 1969 he married T. Kay Gatlin. They were married for 41 years before Kay passed away.

Larry worked and retired from Raybestos Powertrain in Crawfordsville. He enjoyed fishing, watching all sports, bowling and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his children, Tim Keyt of Brazil, Tony Keyt of Bloomington, Russ Keyt of Brazil, Christy Keyt of Brazil and Jamie Doub of North Salem; stepdaughter Tamera Gatlin; sisters Debbie (Bill) Perkins of Roachdale and Jeannie Somers of Knighstville; 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; and three nephews and one niece.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles, wife Kay, and son Travis.

There will be a graveside service at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 3 at Bainbridge Cemetery with Pastor John Kessinger and Pastor Bill Brock officiating.
