Donna Lou Frye

Donna Lou Frye, 85, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, Nov. 30, 2015.

She was born on Oct. 2, 1930 in Zionsville to Kay Maurice Williams and Louise B. Robertson Williams.

Donna was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

She had served as a leader of the 4-H Jefferson Bells club for 10 years, was a member of the Jefferson Township Home Ec Club, past president of the Homemakers Club; and had served as superintendent of Harris Hall at the Putnam County Fairgrounds.

Surviving are her children, Linda Bright and husband Wayne of Greencastle, Dennis Frye of Bainbridge, Cathy Mullis of Greencastle, Janet Like and husband Tom of Morton, and Andy Frye of Bainbridge; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a sister, Carolyn Lamar of Lebanon; and a brother, Randall Williams of Los Lunas, N.M..

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert Eugene Frye; brother Kay Duon Williams and infant brother Kenneth Williams.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 5 at Bittles and Hurt Funeral Home, Greencastle, with Wayne Bright officiating. Interment will follow at Brick Chapel Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 4 from 4- 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
