Parade Winners

A crowded field brought some strong entries in the float competition at the Cloverdale Christmas Parade on Saturday. With a theme of "The Songs of Christmas," Soul Harvest Church won the non-commercial division with its "Little Drummer Boy" float, complete with a drum line (above) following behind. Gilman Electric took the commercial division with a working merry-go-round float (left) called "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas."
