-- Community Help Desk, 2-4 p.m.

Tech Help Desk has a computer technician available to give one-on-one assistance using software and electronic devices, and can help diagnose and repair your computers and devices.

-- PCPL Book Group, 7-8:30 p.m.

Group will be meeting to discuss Jane Smiley's novel, "Some Luck" Annual used book exchange with books available for purchase at the reference desk for $9.25.

Tuesday, Dec. 15

-- Community Help Desk, 4-7 p.m.

Tech Help Desk has a computer technician available to give one-on-one assistance using software and electronic devices and can help diagnose and repair your computers and devices.

-- Focus on Health Series: Depression and Non-Medication Treatment by Betty Ulrich, nurse practitioner, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Ulrich will discuss the criteria for diagnosis of depression in a Brown Bag lunch program and what folks can do before they resort to medications. Drinks and light refreshments will be served.

Wednesday, Dec. 16

-- Baby Time, 10:30-11 a.m.

Sing songs, read stories, play with toys, talk and laugh with your baby.

Thursday, Dec. 17

-- Jean Walter's Farewell, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

Cookies and drinks available for patrons and give them a chance to say goodbye to Jean.

-- Toddler Time, 10-10:30 a.m.

Sing songs, hear stories and nursery rhymes, move around to music and action songs, and make a craft.

-- Community Help Desk, 10 a.m-1 p.m.

-- Pre-K Prime Time, 11:-11:45 a.m.

Theme-based stories and sing action songs, make a craft and have a small snack.

-- Computer Class: Managing Your Digital Photos, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Class is currently full but you may still sign up to be put on a waiting list. Class will discuss basics of importing and exporting digital photos, editing and resizing, and sharing photos with friends and family on the Internet. Participants need to be proficient with a mouse.

Friday, Dec. 18

-- Brick Club, 4-5 p.m.

Let your creative side wild with Lego challenges. Each month will be a different challenge, from storybook characters to video game characters, youth ages 4-12 urged to participate in this hands-on program.

Saturday, Dec. 19

-- Pokemon League, 1-2 p.m.

PCPL provides a safe environment for youth ages 4-14 to play with their cards. A partnership with the local business Game Warehouse allows for youth to earn stamps to receive a discount on additional cards.

-- Time Travelin' Genealogy Guild, 10-11 a.m.

Event will take place in the Cyril Johnson Room Local History and Genealogy Department on the main floor in the restored part of the original Carnegie Library.
