Ivy Tech hosting two events today at Greencastle site

Ivy Tech Community College will be hosting an Express Enrollment event and an entrepreneurship information session Wednesday at its Greencastle Campus, located at 915 S. Zinc Mill Rd.

The Express Enrollment event will take place 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The event makes it convenient to complete enrollment steps and register for classes at Ivy Tech in one day. Those interested in attending the enrollment event are encouraged to RSVP and learn more at www.ivytech.edu/enrollmentday.

To meet the assessment requirement, attendees can bring in their SAT/ACT/PSAT scores, high school transcript, college transcript, or take an assessment called the ACCUPLACER if needed. Spring semester at Ivy Tech begins Jan. 11.

The entrepreneur information session begins at 3 p.m. Community members can learn about the entrepreneurship program at Ivy Tech Greencastle and hear tips for starting their own business from experts. Those interested in attending can register at entr-certificate.eventbrite.com.

Ivy Tech Greencastle is a full-service campus offering programs in general education transfer core, business administration, entrepreneurship, logistics/supply chain management, human services and practical nursing. Most courses transfer to degrees at other Ivy Tech campuses and to four-year colleges and universities. Student services, such as academic advising, are offered on campus as well.

Ivy Tech Community College is the state's largest public postsecondary institution and the nation's largest singly accredited statewide community college system with campuses throughout Indiana, including Greencastle.
