Homemakers Honor

Heritage Preservation Society of Putnam County President Mike Murphy presents a plaque honoring the Purdue Extension Homemakers. The unveiling took place at the fairgrounds Community Building on the opening night of the recent Arts and Crafts Fair sponsored by the Extension Homemakers. The plaque is to be placed on the Heritage Wall in downtown Greencastle next May. Sitting are Edith Fry (left) and Betty Foxx. Standing are (from left) Jennifer Cannon, Claire Winings, Brenda Heacock, Bonnie Bryan, Murphy, Sharon Baldwin and Rita Reffett.
