Latest strays reported by local animal shelter

Here are the latest stray animals currently held at the Putnam County Animal Care and Control Shelter, 4700 E. State Road 240, Greencastle.

-- Dog: Adult, male, black/white/brown, hound, found in Fillmore.

-- Dog: Senior, male, black, cocker spaniel, found in Greencastle.

-- Cat: Adult, male, orange tabby, found at Heritage Lake.

To claim an animal, you must present proof of ownership.

Public hours at the shelter are 1-5 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
