Food film followed by Thursday discussion at PCPL

The Putnam County Public Library will host an opportunity to discuss the food production issues that affect everyone, every day.

On Thursday, Jan. 14 at 6 p.m., the documentary film "Food Inc." will be shown at the library, 103 E. Poplar St., Greencastle, followed by a discussion of the ethics and issues of food production, and local impact. The discussion will be moderated by Constance Campbell Ferry.

Ferry is the owner/grower/herbalist of Hobbit Gardens Earth Gatherings Center, an organic herb "farm" operated in Putnam County since 1987.

Topics include the best methods of growing and producing food to sustain the health of people, animals, community and the resources of land, water and air. Thoughts and input of the public are welcome.

Popcorn and drinks will be provided. Theprogram is free and open to the public.
