Harold Dean Doane

Harold D. Doane, 54, of Greencastle, passed away on Monday, Jan. 11, 2016.

Born Jan. 31, 1961 in LaPorte, he was the son of Denzel Orville and Melva Juanita (Wimberly) Doane.

Harold had been a machinist with Screw Machine Products/Jones Enterprise in LaPorte for more than 20 years.

He is survived by his wife Pamela (Brown) Doane; daughter Tonya Doane and fiancé Russ Ash; brothers Robert (Deb) Doane and Henry (Barb) Doane; sisters Juanita (Kenny) Quirk and Margaret (Jerry) Archer; four granddaughters, Raven Sage, Keely Sage, Bristol Ash and Daphnie Ash; and his companion and service dog, Pete-Dee.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Terri Lee Olson; and six infant siblings.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory to the Wounded Warrior Project 4899 Belfort Rd., Suite 300 Jacksonville, FL 32256.

Harold had chosen cremation services with no additional services at this time.

Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
