NCAA Women's Final Four Ball Kid Battle

The NCAA invites girls 10 to 14 years old to compete to serve as the official "ball kids" during the 2016 Division I Women's Final Four semifinal games on Sunday, April 3.

Ball Kid Battles will be conducted during four upcoming women's basketball games at Butler University, DePauw University, the University of Indianapolis and IUPUI. One finalist will be selected at each game and will compete at halftime of a national semifinal game for the title of 2016 Women's Final Four Ball Kid. Finalists will also be courtside during the two games to assist event staff with duties such as collecting basketballs during warmups.

At the ball kid battles, contestants will be asked to perform activities such as folding uniforms, filling water bottles and mopping the basketball court within a designated period of time.

Ball Kid Battle locations and times are:

Saturday, January 23, DePauw University, 2:15 p.m. for ball kid battle, game versus Wooster at 3 p.m.

Saturday, January 23, University of Indianapolis, 12:15 p.m. for ball kid battle; game versus McKendree starts at 1 p.m.

Sunday, February 21, IUPUI, 1:15 p.m. for ball kid battle; game versus Fort Wayne starts at 2 p.m.
