David Kenneth Beaman

David Kenneth Beaman, 73, Fillmore, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 26, 2016 at his residence.

He was born on Jan. 2, 1943 at Indianapolis, and was the son of the late Kenneth Eugene Beaman and Aleene Burnadette (Ward) Beaman.

He married Hope (Schafer) Beaman on Dec. 30, 1988, and she survives.

He is also survived by his daughters, Becky Cooper, Avon, and Angela Beaman, Washington; his sons, Brian Beaman, Avon, and Bradley Beaman and Sarah, Alabama; his sister, Mary Patricia Elston and Arthur, Zionsville; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David B. Beaman Jr.

He was a retired Indianapolis police officer.

Memorial services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31 at Whitaker Funeral Home, Cloverdale.

Visitation will be on Sunday, Jan. 31 from 2 p.m. until service time.
