Earl Francis Johnson

Earl Francis Johnson, 62, of Roachdale, passed away at his residence on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016.

He was born on Oct. 17, 1953 in Dover, N.H., to the late Herman and Dorothy (Hapgood) Johnson.

Earl graduated from Joseph Craig High School in 1972, and then proudly served our country in the United States Army.

He worked in the construction industry for many years.

Earl loved fishing, hunting, match wrestling and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by Barbara Lair, the love of his life for 26 years, children Krystal Johnson, Janesville, Wis., Dena Marie (Lair) Burnett, Janesville, Wis., Hope Ann Misamore, Roachdale; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings Mike Johnson, Tony Osbaugh, Cindy Johnson and Margaret Raymer; numerous nieces and nephews, and three best friends, Perry Polluck, Carl Rabe and Jerry Streuly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Tracy Streuly, brothers Byron, Clifford and PeeWee, and two special friends, Steve Simonson and Steve Frisbee.
