County Jail

Nine people were booked into the Putnam County Jail on Thursday.

* At 8:30 a.m. Mark Gabriel Albright, 31, Greenastle, was booked in on a warrant for nonsupport of a dependent.

* At 9:45 a.m. William Christopher Davis, 34, Poland, was lodged at the jail on a warrant for possession of paraphernalia.

* At 11:30 a.m. Charles Christopher Frye, 28, Brazil, was arrested on a warrant for driving with a suspended license.

* At 12:19 p.m. John Timothy Trimble, 44, Quincy, was housed at the jail on a warrant for theft, dealing altered property and fraudulent sale of a motor vehicle or watercraft.

* At 1:42 p.m. Eric Michael Bottoms, 38, Fillmore, was booked in on a warrant.

* At 11:50 p.m. Wesley Brian Garrison, 33, no city listed, was lodged at the jail for visiting a common nuisance, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and possession of methamphetamine.

* At 11:50 p.m. Clarence William Gillmore, 28, Beech Grove, was booked in on a pair of warrants as well as for sale of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and possession of paraphernalia.

* At 11:50 p.m. Alice Marie Payne, 51, Cloverdale, was housed at the jail for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance and dealing in a schedule drug.

* At 11:50 p.m. Andrea Nicole Tillberry, 23, Quincy, was arrested for visiting a common nuisance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and possession of paraphernalia.

City Police

Two recent arrests were reported by Greencastle City Police officers.

* At 7:44 p.m. Thursday, Burton Jarrod Olson, 34, Greencastle, was arrested by Officer Matt Huffman at The Swizzle Stick on the north side of the courthouse square.

Charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct, Olson had been previously banned from the restaurant/bar and was reportedly told multiple times to leave the establishment before police were called.

After registering a blood-alcohol content of .171 percent, Olson was lodged in the Putnam County Jail.

* At 10 p.m. Thursday, Justin York, 24, Greencastle, was arrested by Capt. Charles Inman following a traffic stop at the entrance to the Walmart store.

Lodged in the Putnam County Jail, York was arrested on a Clay County warrant for failure to appear on an original charge of driving with a suspended license.

City Fire

The Greencastle Fire Department recently responded to three dispatches and one lift assist.

* At 4:28 p.m. on Thursday, GFD responded to a fire alarm at 208 E. Olive St. GFD investigated the alarm and found nothing.

* At 11:10 p.m. on Thursday, GFD performed an odor investigation at 10 Frazier St. but found nothing due to an all-electric building.

* At 11:15 a.m. on Friday, GFD responded to a fire alarm at 522 Anderson St. GFD was unable to determine the cause of the alarm and returned to station at 11:20 a.m.
