Bridge 248 closed in Jackson Township until further notice

ROACHDALE -- The Putnam County Highway Department has closed Bridge 248 in Jackson Township until further notice.

The one-lane bridge on County Road 650 East about 1.5 miles south of State Road 236 is slated to be replaced this summer.

The Highway Department announced the project earlier this year, but the closure was unexpected. No further information was provided on the reason for the immediate closure.
