7,000 eggs up for grabs Saturday morning at annual Robe-Ann Park hunt March 19

An estimated 7,000 plastic eggs, filled with candy, goodies or coupons, will be up for grabs Saturday, March 19 during the annual Greencastle Park and Recreation Department Easter Egg Hunt.

The free event will begin promptly at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 19 at Robe-Ann Park.

Hunts will be conducted in five age groups: Ages 1-2, 3-4.5-6. 7-8 and 9-11.

Egg hunters also may find special redemption tickets inside their eggs for prizes that could even include a new bicycle or a chocolate rabbit.

Sponsors include Completely Nuts and Candy Co., Headley Hardware, Anthony's Pizza, McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Long John Silver's, Walmart, Pizza King, Monical's Pizza, Carpenter Realtors, Kroger, Dollar General, Charlie's Beefcake Burgers, Bobby Hopper Agency Farmers Insurance, WREB and Friends of the Park.
