Easter egg/scavenger hunt set for Thursday

Main Street Greencastle is sponsoring a Downtown Easter Egg/Scavenger Hunt for children 10 and under on Thursday, March 24.

The 4-6 p.m. event is free of charge and requires no registration. Prizes will be awarded at participating businesses.

The bunny trail will lead to 13 downtown locations -- The Inn at DePauw, Cricket's, Eitel's and Co. Florist, WynWay Technologies, Moore's Bar, Conspire Crafts, Starbucks, Music on the Square, Re/Max, Shuee's Furniture and Mattress, Putnam County Foundation, Partnership Center (2 W. Washington St.) and The Game Warehouse.

Peter Cottontail will roaming around to visit with children who come downtown for the inaugural event, sponsored by Eric Wolfe Real Estate and Eitel's & Co.

The event will go on rain or shine,

  • It says main street is sponsoring then lists Eitels. Can't wait to take my children to Moore's bar.
