Lady Tiger tennis team wins 5-4
HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - Trailing 2-1 after doubles, #15 DePauw won four of the six singles matches and took a 5-4 win over #26 Wisconsin-Whitewater. The Tigers improved to 5-4, while the Warhawks dropped to 15-1.
DePauw's second doubles team of Alyssa Senevirante and Ali Bush were 8-6 winners over Jillian Wallace and Alicia Beck to give the Tigers their only point in doubles play.
Maddie Lee posted a 6-3, 6-3 win at first singles over Megan Humphreys, while Colleen Morris battled for a three-set victory at fourth singles over Alexandra Talyanksy 1-6, 7-5, 1-0 (10-6).
At fifth singles, Ali Bush topped Wallace 6-2, 6-4 and Megan Galle was a 6-1, 6-2 victor over Beck at sixth singles.
DePauw faces Carleton on Thursday, March 24, at 8:30 a.m. in the Tigers' final match on Hilton Head Island.
